lots of bunting, jars, fairy lights and fun!

oh hello there! hope you're having a wonderful week- right now i'm back in the giraffe onesie watching X factor and updating this.
Today I would like to share with you some colour/theme ideas, the colours of the wedding will be quite plain, the bride in white, groom in a different shade of grey to the ushers and bridesmaids, and all the colour coming through the flowers and decorations - as you all know, its going to be an arty farty wedding!

As Mark and me are not the most formal of people we want to have a relaxed and fun atmosphere- it's all about love and don't want anyone feeling uncomfortable, this would be the ideal kinda vibe we would like

yep, lots of bunting, jars, fairy lights and fun! I think I have told some of you but we want to collect jam jars or any type of glass jars (mason jars to you stateside :P ) as we are planning to put coloured sand in the middle and then tea lights (possibly battery ones) inside and then tie something around the top like ribbon or string... We are going to use these for the middle of the tables instead of the massive flowers or ornaments, as I find they get in the way when you talk to people on the other side of the table, no? so prob have abut 5 or 6 on each table and then some around the venue for deocoration...
all these pictures have been taken from pinterest,i've become completely obsessed with the site! such nice ideas on there- and I have linked it on the side of this post -----> Mel and Hannah, you guys have Pinterest pages, do you want to add them to the link side too?

Mark and me have spent lots of time venue searching and  will update you on another post on that one, but for now I leave you with this.... I think its filmed in the BAC where we went to the vintage fair last week!
.. I saw this video and asked Mark if we can hire them for our wedding :) hehee

It has lots of shapes and sizes etc i also looked at amazon and ikea and they were pretty expensibe like £6 for one! Are you making the buntings too?? They look pretty and can use them for other celebrations too.. Like your anniversaries :) birthdays, decorations etc so you get to really use them!
